Early Career Teacher Award

Eligibility

  • Assistant Professor or equivalent in relevant category
  • Minimum 03 years teaching experience at any engineering College/ University/Institution
  • Good academic track record
  • H-index (any of Google Scholar/ Research Gate / Scopus excluding self-citations): 02
  • Published at least 05 papers/book chapters indexed in Scopus

    • Evaluation Criteria

    The nominees with exceptional capacities in teaching admired by peers, institutes and students.
    This teacher should be of undeniable trustworthiness, honest and ethical character.
    The quality of teaching and research will be measured with all minute academic details which make the teacher trustworthy.

    Outstanding Teacher Award

    Eligibility

  • Associate Professor or equivalent in relevant category
  • Ph.D. in related branch
  • Good academic track record
  • H-index (any of Google Scholar/ Research Gate / Scopus excluding self-citations): 04
  • Published at least 07 papers/book chapters indexed in Scopus

    • Evaluation Criteria

    The nominees with exceptional capacities in teaching admired by peers, institutes and students.
    This teacher should be of undeniable trustworthiness, honest and ethical character.
    The quality of teaching and research will be measured with all minute academic details which make the teacher trustworthy.

    Distinguished Professor Award

    Eligibility

  • Professor or Full Professor in relevant category
  • Guiding / Guided : 02 Ph.D. Candidates
  • Good academic track record
  • H-index (any of Google Scholar/ Research Gate / Scopus excluding self-citations): 06
  • Published at least 10 papers/book chapters indexed in Scopus

    • Evaluation Criteria

    The nominees with exceptional capacities in teaching admired by peers, institutes and students.
    This teacher should be of undeniable trustworthiness, honest and ethical character.
    The quality of teaching and research will be measured with all minute academic details which make the teacher trustworthy.

    Outstanding Department Chair or Head Award

    Eligibility

  • Working as Department Chair or Head from at least 02 year in relevant category
  • All following activities will be counted during the tenure
  • Published average 01 SCOPUS indexed paper per professor per year (Total papers/Total Professor > 1)
  • Department completed at least one consultancy project
  • Department received on major research project grant (>15000 USD)
  • Department running at least one technical club
  • Department have organized at least one national/international event per year

    • Evaluation Criteria

    The nominees with exceptional capacities in administration of various departmental activities admired by peers, institutes, and students.
    The department chair or head should be of undeniable trustworthiness, honest, and ethical character.
    It is believed that the overall departmental growth is collective efforts of directing person along with team members.

    Outstanding Academic Club Mentor Award

    Eligibility

  • Working as Coordinator of the Academic (Technical) Club from at least 02 year such as ASCE, ASME, IEEE, Royal Society of Chemistry, SAE, AISHRE, etc.
  • Club has organized at least 01 significant activities per year
  • Club members have participated in at least 02 events per year
  • Club members has received at least one award or won one event (among top three - any time)

    • Evaluation Criteria

    The nominees with exceptional capacities in handling academic technical club of students or professors at departmental or institute or university level.
    The mentor should be of undeniable trustworthiness, honest, and ethical character.
    The achievements of the mentor will be judged on the basis of various activities carried out by the club at various levels and subsequent benefits to club members, institute and technological advancement.

    Delight Extracurricular Club Mentor Award

    Eligibility

  • Working as Coordinator of the Extracurricular Club from at least 02 year
  • Extracurricular club such as Training and Placement, Social Welfare, PRO, Sports, Start-up, Art and Craft, Social Service Groups, NSS, etc.
  • Club has organized at least 01 significant activities per year
  • Club members have participated in at least 02 events per year
  • Club members has received at least one award or won one event (among top three - any time)

    • Evaluation Criteria

    The nominees with exceptional capacities in handling non-technical club of students or professors at departmental or institute or university level.
    The mentor should be of undeniable trustworthiness, honest, and ethical character.
    The achievements of the mentor will be judged on the basis of various activities carried out by the club at various levels and subsequent benefits to club members, institute and society.

  • Publishing Newsletter from last five years
  • Publishing on scheduled time
  • Innovative and creative

    • Evaluation Criteria

    The newsletter will be judged on the basis of its content, creativity, novelty, timely publication, etc.
